O.S. Systems at ESC Brazil 2013

O.S. Systems were present this year at ESC Brazil 2013 fair (27th and 28th of August) in São Paulo with 3 different demonstrations showing Yocto Project integration of i.MX6 Solo with Eclise IDE, i.MX6 SoloLite and E-Ink Display integration and a i.MX6 Quad using the new O.S. Hybrid application framework.

The first demonstration used a Wandboard Quad, that comes with a Freescale i.MX6Q CPU running a Embedded Linux system based on O.S. Systems Embedded Linux Yocto distribution and the O.S. Hybrid Framework.

The laptop where running the O.S. Hybrid Simulator while the board where running the O.S. Hybrid hardware bridge to show the possible cost reduction provided by this new framework.

Another demonstration shown was using the Freescale i.MX6 SoloLite Evaluation Kit and the E-Ink Panel (part number IMXEBOOKDC3-E).

The board had an application to show slides done the O.S. Hybrid framework and HTML5.

The last demonstration was showing the Yocto Project Eclipse IDE pluging being used with a Wandboard Solo board.

The O.S. Hybrid framework is going to be introduced in the market in comming weeks, stay tuned!
